Learn how to build your own website from scratch.

AUCKLAND EXPLORERS, we're subsidising the cost of this course by $29,

so you need only pay $35 for the whole 8 week course!

Web development is an easy way to begin to learn coding. The ability to make your own website and basic coding skills are critical for students in the future with the increasingly digitised world that we are entering.

Students will learn how to code using HTML, CSS and W3.CSS Frameworks.

You'll need a basic text editing programme such as Wordpad, Notepad, TextEdit etc. A professional coding app such as Dreamweaver or Xcode is useful, but not necessary to do this course.

Tutor: David Nips

David is a former high school teacher of maths, science, and ICT. He has a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) and Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He has taught Years 9-13 ICT in Australia and NZ. David suggests that his course is best suited to children 11+ who can work independently at a computer.
